Planning is a higher order leadership skills. Any good or great planner would have move up the chain of leadership skills from execution to organising and finally arriving at planning. This approach could be seen in student leadership development, school/college structure as well as huge companies.

This workshop/camp explore your student leaders to in depth and detailed planning procedure to prepare them to for key appointments for conducting of camp, school events, service learning and adhoc project.

It is an experiential skill building workshop with interactive lectures, scenario planning, after action review as well as living the routine of a planner. Your leaders will be learn and acquire the skill set through “PLAN YOUR WORK, WORK YOUR PLAN” approach. They will be intensively involved in the 3 main parts of an event/project: Planning, Organising and Execution. An After Action Review is conducted at the end of every scenario to create opportunities for personal and well as team take away.

Objectives
●    Inculcate Planning Leadership Qualities: Decisiveness, Commitment, Meticulous, Focus and Listening. These qualities are crucial to the success of planning,organising and executing of the plan.
●    Facilitating Meeting: Facilitate meeting/discussion through inclusion skills such as turn-taking and directing of traffic elevate participation among team members. It ensures points of view from different members are surfaced and encourage sharing of air-time.
●    Big Picture & Detailed Planning: Explore approaching task from a BIG picture perspective and gradually chunk down to more details planning. This ensures that the purpose and objectives of task are always kept in sight.
●    Scenario Planning: Involve in the planning, organising and execution of various type of planning through realistic scenario to apply the planning steps covered. It also translates words into real actions and seeing the relevancy of the planning steps in various scenario.
●    Pit falls of Planning: Understand that planning is never perfect. All effort during the planning process is to perfect the plan at the same time being aware of common pitfalls of planning. Common pitfalls of planning include over-reliance on a single person, not documenting the plan, not planning to fails and others.
