UDLTM Approach
In our framework, we employed the UDLTM approach to ensure participants go through a Unified, Developmental and Layered growth process. This approach is crucial as it provides meaning and relevancy that are crucial for vesting of learning. It also supports students in growing in 2-dimension in their leadership development: Width and Depth.
Unified Approach
The unified approach creates a common platform for leadership development. Leaders from all Uniform Group, Sport, Clubs, Class and Student Councillor/Prefectorial Board attend the same leadership training. This further develop a common leadership language and understanding that strengthen a effective and efficient working relationship.
Developmental Approach
The elevation from General to Advanced Level is a developmental approach. This approach supports the growth of one level of skill set to another.
In the framework, the general training is offered to all students and it primary focuses are elevating individual effectiveness through personal leadership and appreciation of leaders. The next level offers potential student leader to gain higher level skill sets in the function of executing, organising and planning. The next table provides a glimpse of our developmental approach.
